Music and Movement in the Early Years

Songs teach rhythm, memory and turn-taking long before children can read a note. Our music room has drums low enough for small hands and scarves for dancing.

Every class ends with the same goodbye song, so the day closes on a note children recognise.

Why Outdoor Play Matters

Rain boots by the door, a garden with room to run — outdoor time is part of the timetable, not a reward.

Mud, leaves and puddles give children things to compare, count and describe. They also give them a reason to sleep well at nap time.
